I want to work on this feature along this 2.x dev. cycle, but currently it is not possible.

So just to be clear, if I download a .orbx file from the live db, there is no way to import that file into LightWave? Is there no way I could get the image files and then create similar settings to get a similar surface?

You can't import the .orbx in Lightwave yet, but in the Standalone if you download a material from LiveDB and later you save the scene, Standalone is also going to save the images available in the materials.

Was also hoping to use the liveDB materials in LW, just bought the Standalone + LW plugin and couldn't find a way to use those great stand alone materials in lw.
Has any improvement been made?
Thanks in advance
:D
