Daylight environment sharp shadows

I realized something today that puzzles me about shadows. I have my scene set to daylight environment and direct lighting on Ambient Occlusion. I have an object that is about 100 meters up in the sky, and yet, it's casting a sharp shadow on the ground like it was 1 meter from the ground. This is how the Lightwave native distant light behaves, which I never understood, but I thought that Octane was trying to be as realistic as possible.

Did I miss any setting in the daylight environment or direct lighting nodes? I can't see anything in the manual.

Oops! Found it. It was the sun size parameter in the daylight environment.
