I'm trying to do a little test scene that is in an enclosed space. Have build the very basic geometry and started texturing before I noticed something strange. With no external lighting (texture or daylight), the internal lights do not bounce light around the room like I would expect, regardless of which kernel I use, or the depth I make the GI. The following images are with and without a lighting environment.
What am I doing wrong, surely, lights would light up the room better.
