Is it possible to implement spectron lights in Modo? They look like a really powerful lighting option.

Please see the Octane Light property on the Modo Area, Point and Spot lights. There are some details on this in the release notes for 2020.1.2.162 at the top of this thread.

Hello Paul,
Is there any ETA for the Modo plugin of version 2020.2? Because Nvidia 30xx series card owners cannot use AI denoiser on 2020.1 version.
Even a beta version of the modo plugin would be useful on many cases.

I am working on it at the moment, so my guess is it will be available just prior to Christmas.

You are probably already aware of this, but on an M1 Mac with Big Sur 11.1 this prevents Modo from opening (PR7 standalone works fine).

Do you mean Modo in general will not open, or Modo with the Octane plugin installed will not open?

On an M1, Modo 14.2v1 will open and run just fine.

After installing the latest PR7 plugin, Modo no longer opens at all.

I either have to run the Safe mode version of the app, or remove the Octane plugin folder, in order to get the app to run again.
