Nodegraph Node Issues

Hey there,

I'm using the octanerender setup window to overide the modo materials with octane materials. Im trying to use the NodeGraph node so that I can edit the materials in that standalone-type window. Sometimes when I hit "edit node" (even on some materials i've previous successfully edited), i get this message: "Error: this nodegraph or it's owner material is not used in the Octane scene, so cannot be edited. "

I have the render window open and the mesh that i'm trying to edit the materials for visible in the scene. Why is this happening, and how can I prevent it from happening again in the future?

Hi. Sorry for the delay responding to this msg.

Yes, you need the material you are editing to actually be in the Octane scene nodegraph - so it must actual be being used in the scene. This limitation may be lifted in the future.
