Hi guys,

I was hopping someone could tell me if there is a way to zoom in the octane viewport as there is in modo preview? This would be great. i know using the camera with the dropper icon we can rotate and pan but it would be awesome if there is a way to zoom.

Great Thanks, Is there a way to map it to modo's alt+ctrl so its the same as the the zoom keys on the modo preview? I use a mac so I don't know if its the same on a pc (in regards to modo's hotkeys).

Greggers when you click the "viewport navigation" icon, navigation should match modo's 3d view navigation (reasonably close anyway)

Ctrl+alt+ left click drag left/right is already zooming in and out like modo, so I'm a little unclear on your last question.

Go to System->Preferences->Input->Remapping and make sure Mouse Input Preset is set to MODO, then the navigation controls should match.

hi guys,

so I'm on a mac. My input settings are already modo's - ctrl and alt keys at the same time to zoom, as per usual. In Octane I have to use alt and cmd together to zoom.
I just wanted it to be the same as modo. As i stated previously, I don't know what the keys are for modo on windows as I've always used a mac. Can i change the keys in octane so it works the same as the modo keys of ctrl and alt?

ps - thanks for the reply :-)

Ah yes, OSX does something non-standard with Alt and Cmd keys - so it will probably trip up the plugin. I think on my OSX box I have remapped keys to swap cmd and alt so that it's more Windows'ish, so did not pick up this issue.
