Hey Paul,
here is another Issue. Loading Volumes as Proxy does work great, but it produces error messages in the log

I saw the spotlight Node and was hoping i could connect it to the arealight. I think this is not possible right now. Can you please add an input for this?
Otherwise there is no way to use the Quadlight as a spotlight. Thank you in advance!

Agreed. It would be nice to have a way to connect something to the "distribution" pin on a light without having to create an emitter.

Thank you for supporting my request :-) I think this is really an important feature to have more control over lighting

Hello Paul,

Solid projection of textures doesn't work on "Windows - Modo13-14 - OctaneRender for Modo 2020.2.3.169".

I thought I was using them on previous releases (maybe I2m mistaken, not sure). Is it possible to make them work?

Hi. Yes, this is a known issue. It will be fixed in the next release of Octane (and in the next release of the plugin). I may do an interim release just for the issue next week.

Thanks

For Modo14 or Modo15? I cannot get Modo15 to work on Ubuntu.

Modo 15. It works for me on Ubuntu 21.04. If you do not have time fighting with that, I do understand.

I now have it working with Modo15 on Ubuntu thanks to some help from Foundry. I will do a build in the next day or so.

It appears to happen with all ORBX proxies. I will try to fix this in the next release.
