How the scene has been setup (lights, materials, etc.) + Kernel settings, please.

When can we finally expect a normal, fast volume?

it is just AO mode but the scene has 700 scattered streetlights using itoo. Octane has hard time with multiple lights

1. Since the introduction of OCIO there is still an issue when opening file with different OCIO configuration. You can't do anything unless you add new Imager and attach it to Render target. Could automatically disable OCIO in imager when is it not loaded in preferences or different is present?

2. The fog you have introduced is pretty useless as it just dims the image pretending to be a fog. There is no distinction in density between objects in front and far from camera. All have same amount of "fog". I've tried different settings but cant get the same look as with medium. As an example I attach a picture with a medium render and "fog". There is also orbx file to check the issue.

I would presume that it has been intentionally made so to "alert" users about this fundamental (in a working environment) pipeline element that is missing. The Console Log isn't docked anywhere in the GUI by default.

You can alert te users but not block them form working with software when there is mismatch in settings.

The attachment fog.png is no longer available

Hey J.C, please consider that the balance between the Fog Strength and the Medium Radius is pretty important.
That's what I was able to get:

Capture.PNG

I'm pretty sure you can get close to that in your scene as well. The post process fog definitely does well more than "just dims the image pretending to be a fog".

Could you try my scene? I can't get it working to look as with medium or similar to your scene.
