Has anyone else noticed inconsistent behavior with the new photon kernel? I can snapshot the default settings, change them, go back to defaults, and even after reloading the intensity and distribution are different from the first render.

hey, will the full release of 2022.1 be native on Apple Silicon arm64? so we could run the plugins on the native builds of DCCs?

The difference is considerable.
Have you tried to set "STATIC NOISE" on?

Displacement produces artifacts when caustics lights hit its surface (Photon engine).
Happens with various materials and scenes.

I looked at your scene and it was using a large ray epsilon of 0.1. After setting the kernel back to defaults, I'm not seeing any artifacts. If you still feel there is an issue, please reply to my PM and we'll look into it.
