Got the same issue. 2020.1 RC4 C4D plugin and the latest daemon from the firt page of this thread... Rc4. C4D plugin tells me it's an incvalid version. meh. -.-

Workaraound with not selecting specific GPUs didn't work.

Edit: latest nvidia studio drivers on both machines-

Thats probably cause you are using the wrong version of Standalone, seeing as you posted in this thread which is a different version than 2020.1 R4 C4D.

Just a quick story - I logged in today and somehow I saw 2019.1 RC5 in the forum list and confused that for a 2020.1 RC5....
I nearly fell over for a moment like OH SH*T...an RC5???!!! Then I saw it was 2019 and I came back to earth.
But in that moment I went straight to the Holodeck
