Blender Live Viewer 230% slower than Cinema 4d

I noticed that cinema 4d live viewer was working much faster than blenders. So I decided to make a comparison and it is more than twice as slow. I matched the window sizes and everything else. Is this normal behavior or am I missing something?

Not much difference. 9 sec in Cinema, 10,5 sec in Blender.
CPU – i9 13900KF, 128GB RAM, GPU – RTX 4090
System – Windows 11

Probably some of your settings in Blender are off.

Could you kindly help point me in the right direction as to which settings I should look at?
Kernel settings are exactly the same. No aov's on both. I mached windows sizes on both and as far as I know everything should be exactly the same.
In blender settings I tried to switch between optix and cuda and it make no difference.
Also in octane devices preferences I have use RTX ON and Use priority ON.
I am a bit lost as to what else to try.

I am using RTX 4070 with AMD Ryzen 7800x3d

1. Make sure Use priority is set to Off. This may reserve some GPU resources to other apps so Octane won't utilize GPU at 100%
2. In Blender settings optix and cuda options are for Cycles not Octane. Octane has its own GPU settings in Octane Server settings.
3. Make sure you disable Octane denoiser in Octane Imager. It slow downs rendering considerably.

btw. what version are you using. I've checked on 28.11 and the rendering times were almost the same.

Thank you for the suggestions, I really appreciate it and it's good to know that those are Blender only settings, I was not aware of that.
I am also on 28.11, I have denoiser and post effects disabled. I tried using priority off but sadly it didn't change anything in this case.
It did made me think to check out the GPU utilization and now I'm even more confused. In C4D it peaks at 15% (I even tried with rendering for longer than 8s and it was the same), and in Blender it does utilize ±90%.
