Latest release 2022.1.1 - 27.12 [STABLE] states as a new feature:
"Support using the shared surface feature on multiple-GPU platforms."

What is this? Where can we read about how to use this feature.

"On Windows, Octane can now send back shared surface handles for render passes instead of just buffers. So with a shared surface and the current server talking to the client in Octane the render passes never leave the GPU even between 2 processes on 1 machine - leading to a super faster viewport rendering than before. "
