Can we exchange our current Blender licenses for another? I mean we just paid for the Blender plugin, and now it’s free...is there a way we can get a refund for that or else access another plugin in its place?

Free tier has one limitation – it works only with one GPU. I don't know if it can work with render server either. If you don't mind those limitations you may stay with free tier.

No, i mean what happens to the paid Blender plugin going forward?
Is it redundant or what? The only difference being the 1 GPU limit, which is all most people use anyways.

Basically I paid full price for something that is now free, so whats the situation with transferring that payment to something that isnt free?

A far as I know paid plugin will be developed as well as free tier version.
Rendering on 1 GPU vs 4 or 8 for example for most users is a huge time saver. If you don't care how long it renders you can stay with one GPU otherwise going multi GPU is obvious.

Regarding your license I would ask support to transfer it to another 3d package.
