Sorry for the confusion, it looks like 'Height' is indeed called 'Amount' in C4DOctane for some reason. It's the same thing. A very small value, close to zero should be enough.

Hmm...don't see any difference....somehow the texture is mapped to each individual surface instead of the whole sphere... UV mapping was always a nightmare for me with Octane in Blender (o;

Strange, It could be how you UV unwrapped it. I just did a spherical unwrap and didn't have any issues. I didn't even look at the results, which shouldn't matter.
