Light Problem Tweet

I have a tunnel in my scene with a metal Plantarlapidus material on the walls, but light from the World tab isn't going through it. I placed an area lamp inside the tunnel but no light is being emitted. I made one of the walls to emit light with Blackbody emission, diffuse node and lamp output but its not emitting any light. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
