Hi, Sorry for asking about something that has been covered, but I cant find the thread!

Im hoping to understand what is required to use a Mac as a render node while the main is a PC? (if its possible yet..)

Currently i sit with,,,
PC - Windows 10, c4D 2024.4.0, Octane 2023.1.2-(R5)
Mac - Sonoma, M2 Max

All advice appreciated

Cheers

Hi,
no sorry, not possible yet.

You need to use the M2 Max as primary workstation, and PC as Render-Node, using c4doctane 2024.1-Alpha 4.

ciao,
