Octane Texture Manager buggy?

I find that using the texture manager is extremely tedious and there's abnormal long wait time when shifting around the inputs. It used to work fine but now it seems to be completely useless. These are my complaints:

- Octane can't recognize a correct file path if the only difference is a "/" or a "\". If I press the folder icon it opens up to the correct path regardless of the slash type.
- Even if the file path is recognized the image is not updated.
- The Replace button doesn't do anything. Nothing happens.
- The only way it works is if I update the paths manually.
- It also seem to generate frequent freezes that affects Windows too, making the mouse lagging and everything else. I have the latest Nvidia Studio driver (551.23)

Also when I import a model to a different project that project looses the full path and report the texture as missing.

I use OctaneRender 2023.1.2 and plugin Cinema 4D 2023.1.2[R3]

Also seeing this behavior. Very painful, especially in a mixed os environment.

In my case- being new-ish to C4D- I think I was just using the tools in the wrong sequence.
IF I first change paths in Project Asset Inspector - and see that all are present- then use Octane Texture Manager.
On Windows first using PAI- this transfers/populates OTM.
On Mac- It does not populate OTM. With the paths set in PAI- it is easy enough to use find/replace in OTM- however it is an extra step.
And trying to use only OTM crashes C4D on Mac.
