Anisotropy masking?

Hey! Is there a way to plug a texture map to the Anisotropy channel somehow? (Not to the Rotation, to the Anisotropy)

I have a mesh that's brushed metal with some parts that are painted, and I need to only apply the anisotropy to a certain part of the mesh, anyway to do that?

Thanks!

Hi,
you could use a Composite material, and use the paint/mask to bland two versions of the same material, one with Anisotropy, and one without.

Or use the Material Layer system to add a masked layer on top without Anisotropy.

ciao,
Beppe

Thanks Beppe!
