Milan, you are amazing! Thank you for helping here with the sample. What you had is correct.
I was completely wrong, my fault.
I had Diffuse> RGB Image.
And then, I put in an OSL Projection into the Projection tab of that Diffuse RGB image.
So then when I loaded in the OSL, it asked for the image, so I put it in again, and I had the Diffuse RGB Image + the OSL Projection RGB Image.
That was warping the color, it looked like an inverted image, with colors inverted almost.
This, as opposed to what you show, a straight Diffuse > OSL. Then in that OSL you enter the image, and Voila!
Thank you very much!!! It was a Node Graph Editor misunderstanding on my part.
Also, I left out the OSL UV part, I did not understand that it 'activated' the OSL merely buy having selected it. That part I messed up as well....
