Team Render Problem

I have 2 x Octane subscriptions on 2 x macs running c4d r18 and I'm trying out team render, but getting an error message:

Error while loading project

Render engine in this project is missing. Plugin (ID 10295525)

How can I fix this?

Hi mitchino,
did you validate both machines and are listed in green?
is the c4doctane plugin correctly loaded and activated on both machines?
Please, also check the network saving path in c4d Preferences/Team Render.

Both machines are listed in green. Looks same on both machines.

Octane plug-in loaded and installed on both machines, they both work individually.

The network saving path is the same on both machines. In Users/----/Library/Preferences/MAXON/CINEMA4DR18_50E4FAD5/teamrender

BTW I get the same error message on both machines.

Team Render with c4d renderer works fine.

Please, change the network path to a unique shared folder accessible from both machines.

I wonder if the issue is confusion between C4d's 'Team Render' and Octane's network rendering. You don't need to invoke or use c4d's team render command. Once you've set up network rendering on the other computers and engaged it in the host...Octane uses all local and network resources quite transparently. It's as if the network GPUs are local.

I can't use Octane's network rendering because I'm using the subscription version of Octane. I have to use team render.

For now I've put both 980tis into one mac, as I need to make a deadline. I'll investigate the team render problem again later.

I am also having this same problem with cinema 4d R20 and octane render 4.0.1

Networking works amazing well but i want to use team render as I can let it go and it will only use my second pc to render that way i can still use my local pc for other projects.

Did anyone ever solve this?

Both Team Render and Network Rendering are working correctly in R20.
Please, go to c4d menu Script/Console (Shift+F10) and post a screenshot of the log output if youn are having issues.
