Hi all,
new version for testing stability is there:
Note: I have to updated code to 0.87a for wrong calculation for instances on incremantel renderings

INSTALL:
Use 0.82 version files and overwrite with this files.

USAGE and REPORT:
Use only for testing, it's still in development and code transation. OR be carrefull for possible errors. Please post some screen caps, crash log if you get errors. You should activate log output option and keep open the console window for captures.
If you have problems, use your stabile relase until errors are fixed.

Some changes
- material preview size parameter for affecting preview looks on procedurals textures (value=0.1 is better)
- material preview improvements (removed a line for stability)
- render failure detection
- render progress lines added
- picture viewer render info
- cameratag focaldepth affect camera focal point
- improved algoritms for realtime update functionality on render instances

Hi,
I have putted beta 0.82. I hope to resolve some render hangups. Please let me know if you still problems.
This is new version which has improvements with sdk 1.20. Still need some testing but seems stabile. Please keep a backup your stabile release. This is has fast geometry updating functionality. I'll post additional info...

changes since Beta 0.7.9b
- mixed geometry method for interactive views and animation rendering
- Fixed, in pathtracing, the alphachannel is checked (or return to checked after changing the kernel) even if alphachannel isn't activated.
- hierarchical material detection improved (e.g. symetry and white material problem)
- Live Viewer Save Image problem fixed
- Remove unused materials problem fixed
- Set renderdevices problem fixed
- fixed render info problem on Picture Viewer with float output
- C4d save project with assets now recognize octane textures

Install:
Use installer exe, select Cinema 4D directory and select version from list. If you have any crashes on startup please check and be sure you have removed older plugin files completely.

The 0.81 version is crashing C4D R15 on mac OS X ML after make a new C4D-Material and clicking on "Texture tab button" (-> to load a shader, etc...).

-> This (click) is crashed C4D !

So I go back to one of the older/more stable versions :(

Hope you can fix this soon !

Seems to be more stable than 0,79b and finally the animation sequence bug removed!!
Good for me.

Still working with 080bB wich is very stable to me on R14 and R15 Installations, but will test the 081B also. Many thanks for your work Ahmet!

Ah, one minor thing (to 080b, have to look for in 081) in R15, with no negative effect on the rendering: Octane always said that textures aren't loaded and did not show them in the material windows. But they where and have been rendered also. As said, have to look with 081, on the other hand it was stable so far.

And I have to ask again: when you write "- Remove unused materials problem fixed", you mean the C4D own function? This didn't work to me including 080b, materials linked to the mix material have been always removed so far. That would be a small but great feature!

there was a mistake on code, 0.79 or 0.80. Octane materials completely was removed with this command. I cannot be sure, but it fixed. For Mix materials, we has still problem. I'm searching a proper way.

Ah ok, good to know, thanks. I'm using a workaround and park them on a null object so they don't get lost using the cinema command.
