C4D camera question

Hi

I'm wondering if the Cinema4d plugin has this same problem I have with the Poser version.
{ pic attached }. The poser camera view doesn't match what the render gives. This is ruining
my workflow. Does Octane in cinema4d give you exact renders to the c4d cameras you set up, and are used to? thank you { the pic shows the main Poser camera view on the left .}

Hi Gold,

Try setting the nearClipDepth to zero.

Thanks
Chris.

Hi FooZe ,

Thanks for reply.

to zero? That wont solve issues in Poser. Yes Ive fiddled with the near clip depth forever. { A control very hard to use, imo } . The problem seems to be Octane camera is somewhere in space behind the Poser camera. So geometry ends up blocking the camera, that you cant tell from the poser camera view. And adjusting that near clip. for animations - what I'm doing - requires keyframing, and real tedious setups. I don't even see a way to keyframe it.

But back to C4D , is this near clip problem an issue for C4D animation work, too?

thanks
