Can you check that please.

Thank you

It looks youre right, have forgotten to set some brackets.
The exr output file was overwritten from a 16bit png file.
Also solved.

Hi face, if possible, can you please include too in RC12, the fix for the autofitviewer option, that when activated the render freezes at "set gpu", thank you very much.

Hi face,

I own Softimage 2012 SP1 and Octane 1.02 RC11. My blackbody emission node apparently does not have an output pin.

With Octane 1.02 RC4 the output pin is visible.

So I think that there is a compatibility issue. Could you please confirm that?

Thanks

There was only an issue in the shader source which is solved in the next version.

Sorry for the delay, but i need more time to bring out the next RC.

I restructure the most parts of the plugin under the hood.
This will make thinks easier to implement and i hope that some other problems will also be fixed.

Softimage 1.02 RC11: Severe installation problems

I tried to update from the old 1.01 Version to this new one:
First I deinstalled the old plugins.
Then I installed this addon with the help of the manual.
Now I can't enter the username and PWD, because the Render Settings do not open.
Instead I get following message:

Application.SetValue("Passes.Default_Pass.Renderer", "Octane Renderer", "")
# INFO : Initialize OctaneRender® for Autodesk® Softimage® 1.0211 RC11
# ERROR : Invalid OctaneLive plugin account or wrong liveId / password combination.

Have Softimage 2014 SP2, Windows 7 x64

Thanks for any help!

Try to delete the octane_live_account.cfg in the plugin directory.
Hope it solved it.

This octane_live_account.cfg file just didn't exist.

It was my fault, I hadn't the latest driver installed for my Quadro K4000M.
Now have installed the 377.88 driver and everything is working properly.

Thank you!
