Hi Face,

Plugin seems to be working great - very fast obj export. Just noticed something with the camera, I'm using Optical Centre shift in the Projection Plane tab of Camera dialog to get 2-point Perspective. (Camera Y and Camera Interest Y are set to the same - optical centre shift is then used to get everything you want in shot).

This is also possible in Octane by using lenshift, but I noticed that the number in Octane and in softimage seem to be quite different, so I'm wondering if that is why it doesn't get sent to Octane?

SI seems to use inches for this lens shift, I'm not sure what Octane is using...

Cheers.

It's been dead around here lately. Is there an integrated Softimage plugin on the way sometime in the future?

Hey face,

I tried to install this latest version of your plugin, to get the 1.20 version of octane running. But when I install the plugin, there is no "Soft2Octane" showing up in the upper menue bar.

I'm using Softimage 2012 SP1, can you give me a hint what to do?

Are the MS Visual C++ 2012 Redistributables installed?

I had 2005, 2008 and 2010 installed, now installed the 2012 version of MS Visual but nothing changed. An older version of you plugin works, but I can't get it working with octane.

Have you read the second last post on the first page from this thread?
Maybe the cuda staff is also your problem.
There is a link to a 64bit version without some cuda stuff.
Will link it to the first post...
