Maya 2023.1.2 - problems!

hi,

im on maya 2023.3, octane 2023.1.2 from today...
i run into some problems using the imager...it seems to have no effect on the renderings at all...
my goal is to setup octane with aces...

-in the imager the ocio-view-node have no effect on the rendered image...
-also when enabling the denoiser, this has no effect...no denoised image ("beauty" and "denoised beauty" aovs look the same)
-also on an evironment, the visibility flags does nothing (background, reflection, refraction)...

do i miss something?

in the script-editor i got this:

in maya 2020.4 denoising works, but not in maya 2023...???
but in both mayas, the environment visibility flags wont work...

concerning aces setup, i think it works by just enabling mayas color management and set rendering-space to ACEScg and the corresponding view, and in the octane-rendersettings-tab under OCIO...
is the setup inside the imager with the ocio-view still neccessary (since i dont see any changes, when switching views here)?

Hey Nospitters,

Thanks for the post and for attaching the error log.
Do you happen to remember the steps to replicate this issue?

Maybe try closing the other apps like PS, AE or any unused apps and see if it still happens!

In the IPR window, we have an AOV drop-down to pick the active AOVs.
Oh no, please make sure to disable native Maya color management if you are using Octane color management including the gamma.

Unfortunately, connecting the View and Look node is important.
We tried to connect them automatically when we created an Imager node, however faced a limitation with Maya itself.

If you have an Octane Panel then it would be easier to select the nodes.
