Maya 2023.3 - cant render with newest plugin Tweet

hi,

installed octane render 2022.1.1 and the corresponding maya plugin 2022.1.1-21.24 for maya 2023.3 and i cant render anything in maya...
(maya 2023.3 with bifrost 2.5.1)

the render view shows nothing and it seems to do nothing, no rendering starting...
also in viewport when switching from vp2.0 to octane, nothing happens...
i have render kernel, environment, and so on enabled...simple scene with only a cube...
do i miss something? is this a bug?

(2x rtx 2080ti, nvidia driver studio 531.61)

btw. redshift renders fine...

(the some goes for maya 2020.4 (with bifrost 2.4.0)...no rendering in render view (stays "blue" forever) or viewport)

Thanks for the post and the details.

Would you please check if you have the GPUs Enabled from the GPU Devices tab?
If so, please share the error codes from the Script editor for us to investigate.

yes, gpus are enabled.
here is a screenshot how it looks like...
Render View shows only default "blue" color and no rendering starting...
No Errors in script editor...

Ah thanks for the screenshot.
Please also enable the "use for tonemapping" atleast on one of the GPU!
If it still does not work then please submit a support ticket at "[email protected]"
