Texture files as camera projection

Hi,

do anyone knows if it is possible to plug texture projection in the diffuse slot of the shaders.
I want to cam-proj a file texture of a live footage character on a 3d rotoscoped character in Maya. I want to get her reflection in the 3D robot she is with.

If anyone has any clue...

Thanks

You cannot directly plug a maya texture node into an octane node you must use an Octane texture node. The way to do what you want is to use a maya shader and bake the projection out to a UV mapped image file that you can then read via an octane image node. Of course for a sequence you will need to do this for each frame. Not sure if Maya has any tools to help with sequence baking but if you can script it wouldn't be too hard to write one.

Additional question,

I don't have my workstation here, but, is Octane able to render the image plane also.
Maybe it is obvious, but I never practiced this option.
