I can't find even installation folder of Octane for Maya, not talking about manuals.

Windows "Start menu", "Programs", "OctaneRender for Maya", there you will find the manual.;)

Of course i searched it in "program files", and even in maya directory, but not in "program files x86" ;)
Updated previous message with couple of images, there's some bug with normal render/ipr - materials suddenly changes in ipr when you change specular parameter _a bit_ on glossy mat.

I mean that pdf actually resides is in "C:\Program Files (x86)\OctaneRender for Maya", but i assumed it's x64 app, so searched just in "C:\Program Files" and maya directories. And search in Win7 "Start" menu doesn't show "Octane for Maya" program group :(
Got it now, reading at the moment.

Not so good video, but something to see... As I wrote, I'm bad Maya 3D-expert, and I have no good scenes to demonstrate... View in Hi-Res to see details...

I have been testing out the new plugin. I managed to get it setup and rendered a few test animations. However, when I save the file and try to reopen it Maya crashes.

am using Maya 2012 64bit on Windows 7 with two GTX 580s

[*]Really needs to support render tessellation. This is an integral part of the Maya rendering pipeline.
[*]It would be great if it supported the Particle Instancer node. It supports regular instances: just do the MObject / MFn stuff already and parse it. NSUninstancer is a mediocre substitute for now, but its code shows how to query an instance node.

Can you please describe how it crashes? If you have the ability to create the screenshot of what is in Maya's console in that moment - will be great.
Can you give the scene file, that crashes for testing?

Thanks for the reply. When I try to reopen the scene it gets to the point when it is just about to open and then gives me one of these

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/53815/MayaCrash.jpg

The scene is just a few primitives. Everything is fine until I assign a octane material. Then after saving, and reopening the file it crashes maya. Here is the scene

Thanks for your help.
