On top max bitmap to octane material
below octane RGB image node to octane material
Banged my head with the walls so much time, adjusting at seeing it like crap. it never occurred to me that it was OCTANE bitmap that was causing the issue.
changing viewport resolution, revising drivers, frustrating.
i just found out that using a good old scanline bitmap the resolution DOES responds to the actual viewport setting.
is THIS A BUG?!!! why!!
So the workflow to understand fidelity in viewport would be, plug it to a max bitmap..and the plug the Octane one for correct results? is this a serious workflow?

cheers

And since we are here.
does anyone has the issue where when you open a scene al the Proxies are out of scale. reopen and it's fixed?
EVERY file has to be reopened twice

Hi Martinboom,
You can set the resolution you like in Kernel > Render setting > Mat. preview W/H.
after that press reload close to filename slot.
