Hi, is there anybody using PhoenixFD with octane ?
I would like to know the limitations when using octane vs vray. Thanks

I do. Unfortunately octane renders wetmaps red particles as mesh. We requested octane to render wetmaps as textures many times. Hopefully otoy can do it soon

All particles like bubbles, mist, splash are also mesh. I think vray create procedural bubbles. Also seamless ocean waves and phoenix waves can only be done in vray. Heat haze is also vray only.

main disadvantage octane cannot support RGB textrues to have different smoke colors in one grid,
