when configuring 0.3 no flicker, tested me several times, and for film and for small tasks

Maya has tested and found a sure way.
I wonder if 3DS max is similar

After selecting the current camera,
Octane camera / Octane imager /
Hot pixel removal changed from 1 to 0
End.
