No render preview in standalone version

I've got App Store Octane X standalone version. It opens with default scene. When I click on some render target, there's no render preview. And it says "no render GPUs" and zero scene size.
The same thing is happening (i.e., nothing is happening) when importing other obj. or fax. geometry.
How to make it work?

Hi,
OctaneX Standalone from app Store is still for Big Sur only.
If you have installed macOS 12 Monterey, please try with the following PR13 Demo version:
https://render.otoy.com/customerdownloa ... _macos.dmg

Which GPUs do you have in your mac?

ciao,
Beppe

Thank you, Beppe for reply.
I've got Monterrey installed on my Mac indeed.
Can't download PR13 Demo following your link: "Your customer/forum accounts do not have permission to download this file, please login to a licensed account to download this file".

Hi!

I'm having the same problem, "no render GPUs" (iMac 5k, Monterey 12.3, Radeon Pro 575). The card shows in Preferences->devices. Downloaded app store version, sows as version 10000308.0.1

When trying to download the pointed version I also get the "please login to a licensed account" message. I do not have a subscription but used to work with App Store version pre-Monterey...

Should the new version work?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Valerio,
unfortunately AMD Radeon Pro 575x is a Polaris GPU, but AMD Polaris and Intel GPUs are not supported anymore in new OctaneX PR12/13/14 for macOS 12 Monterey - there were some Apple Metal driver related issues.

You should need to go back to Big Sur 11.6.4, with OctaneX PR11, or you need a Vega, Navi or Big Navi GPU with macOS 12 Monterey, via Thunderbolt 3 port + eGPU box.

Is it possible for you to downgrade or install Mac Os 11.6.4 on another partition, or an external sdd/hdd?
