GTX 1070 Not working in Octane C4D plugin R18 Tweet

I guess I'm drawn to Octane, and thus a GPU renderer, because i currently render using my CPU and it's not very fast. Granted, this is C4D physical renderer, so it may be that it's slower than Arnold, but I have a hunch that Arnold will also be fairly slow. I have a dual hexacore CPU (Intel(R) Xeon(R) X5690 3.47 GHz x2), but rendering previews is still fairly slow. Well, it's fine, but the notion of a live, interactive renderer with Octane is what I'm after, and am prepeared to purchase a Titan X if this achieves this.
