Hi guys,

Those models that are 'split' are all likely due to them being the wrong scale.
This is very important and you really need to find the correct scale on export/import otherwise you'll constantly run into issues.

Hi,
I loaded your car body into 3dsmax2011.
and did the following :

1.Convert to poly
2.Press 4 ( go into polygon sublevel 4 (polygons))
3.Ctrl+a ( select all polygons )
4. Detach all selected polys to a seperate mesh.
5. This clears the normal issues in the viewport.
6. this leaves you with 2 objects, 1 with mesh and one empty entity. Delete the empty.
7. Export with normals, smoothgroups, and vert, ( evey feature in the export panel will work now
8. load mesh in octane.

Everything looks fine.

I work in World and user "cm" space. exporting at 1.0

All looks good and clean, no faces have issues.

I can expand this walkthrough if you still have problems.
