all objects appear black

Hello,

I don't understand why my objects (a box plane and a teapot) always appear black in Octane.

When I use the daylight system, they appear but in a whyte color with no shadow from the sun even if I select a different hour of the day.

What is the solution please ?

hi,

we can't help you without any more information.
we don't know anything about what you're talking about, versions, host 3d app, hardware, operating system, etc...

also some screenshots would help.

That's fine now,

Just that I have downloaded the version demo yesterday and without manual it's not easy, we have to find our way by ourself.
But this renderer is revolutionary, truly amazing.
I intend to buy it, but is there a documentation somewhere ?

the manual is included with the commercial version.
we provide a tutorial video on our video page for demo evaluation.
