Hello everyone,

I just downloaded the demo of Octane, and the drivers for my cuda Geforce GT 120
Octane was installed, but I can not load an OBJ file, or otherwise.

Thank you in advance,

Studiouno,

You can't right click in the nodegraph and choose mesh ?

Hello, I noticed that the obj files must be saved with the option : MS-DOS platform , (in your modeler)
In other cases, the file does not open.

have you tried using the non-msdos option, but making sure the obj file ends with .obj and not .OBJ or .Obj ?
eg, make it lower case.

Hello radiance

|-------------------------------------------------|
Spec :
MacBookPro3,1
Intel Core 2 Duo 2,4 GHz - RAM 2Gb
GeForce 8600M GT 256Mb
MacOSX 10.6.2
|-------------------------------------------------|

The format is always obj (lowercase)

Cinema4D > obj = Exporter Open in Octane but with only material
Cinema4D > Riptide Pro Exporter obj = Crash Octane
Riptide Pro Exported obj > Bonzai3D V2.0 > Saved with MS-DOS Platform type > Octane: All OK
Bonzai3D V2.0 > Saved with MAC Platform type > Octane: Crash
Bonzai3D V2.0 > Saved with MS-DOS Platform type > Octane: All OK
Bonzai3D V2.0 > Saved with UNIX Platform type > Octane: All OK

I hope it will be useful. ;-)

Hi,

Can you post some example obj and MTL files zipped in zip files or something so we can reproduce the issues and fix them ?
