Ok. I got GPU failed at 1st time for RTX 4090 at AI denoiser after many times despite GPU temperature of only no hotter than 48 or 49 ºC@~98% GPU usage. I think Google Chrome browser suspected may cause Optix/CUDA errors. But fortunately, still no any problems at rendering.

I can't save ORBX due to the "demo" but I attacted OBJ -

Please let us know if at some stage you can share a repro scene since that would help.

Settings - <camera>, 2 materials with "box" and "ice_stone", <imager>, <kernel> and <enviroment>:

You can pick any 1st region with 1 MS/px (as maximum S/px). After this max number, you can pick again other region with max and then again re-pick 1st region (without reset) in each lap (= each 1 MS/px) of region until 2 or more laps. ;)

Unfortunately we are still not able to reproduce with your new instructions. Would you be able to upgrade to a more recent driver and share a video showing the steps to reproduce the issue?

Can you find an ice stone? If you can't find it, I'll capture <Material Preview Camera> with "position"...

I'll update to lastest GeForce GRD (Game Ready Driver) driver, ok?

But I think RTX 4090 gets +/-1% or 2% of GPU fails with AI denoising only (but not rendering).

Hi nuno1980. I copied all your settings and tried rendering on a 4090 from a similar position and had no issues.

I also looked at your facebook post (https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10 ... 4999640920) and tried with a similar render region. I set the max denoiser interval to 5, so the denoiser ran many times. I had no problem after rendering for over an hour (1,000,000 samples reached).

I also tested using the following drivers and had no problems:
- Game ready driver 531.29
- Studio driver 531.41

If I need to follow different steps, please provide a video with clear steps showing the problem happening.

Since you mentioned issues with the denoiser, I'd like to offer my own personal advice (my own opinion, NOT official OTOY advice). I once had a system with a 1080Ti that would crash using the denoiser and it ended up being a problem related to the power supply, even though it was 1000w. You might want to try a different PSU to see if it helps.

The VRAM of my RTX 4090 is currently ECC (error correction code) disabled. If we want long render time (many hours or days), we recommend to enable ECC for VRAM for avoid any GPU failed, ok?

Thanks for the report. It looks like we neglected to document this properly, because this is expected behaviour.

We've updated the initial 2022.1 release post with a list of features that are disabled by real-time mode.
