Parenting to a piece of moving geometry

Hi,
If I have a moving object like a ball and I would like to parent or attach volumetric Spotlight to it. To either follow the ball or somehow linked to its movement how would I do that in the standalone?

Thanks

It's not possible inside standalone as far as I know because your moving geometry is encapsulated in a scene node, you can't easily pick its components to connect other things to them.
Even if you could it may not be possible depending on whether you want to attach to the object origin or to a vertex of a deforming geometry.

I think you will have to do the parenting directly in a DCC app prior to exporting the whole thing, animated mesh and spotlight together. At this point you might as well export to an ORBX so you can still edit the various parts separately when imported in standalone.
