Yes that is by design. If you want to apply gamma you will have to change the color space to "Linear sRGB + legacy gamma" and then change "Legacy gamma". The reason for that is that you can't adjust the gamma curve of sRGB as sRGB is not a simple gamma curve and not the same as linear sRGB and a legacy gamma of 2.2.

Good question. The documentation has fallen behind in the recent years and the documentation team is currently trying to catch up and I believe that while they are still working on 2020.2 features they already have started working on 2021.1 as well.

It would be great if it came with more examples (Universal Camera) and more artist friendly descriptions in some cases.

I tried Random Walk again and it still doesn't work without showing faceting. This is frustrating! When will this be fixed?

So I guess my old GTX690s are no more usable, but Titan X and Titan XP will work hopefully ;)

can we please get phoenix fd wetmaps rendered as mask black and white and not as mesh particles? we've been waiting for years!!! We cannot render wet surfaces when water pours on mesh using phoenix. Thank you
