This is the release of Octane X PR10, for Big Sur. Some urgent fixes were needed on top of PR8, and we include fixes for the upcoming new version of MacOS 11.
Important: for this build you must be using MacOS 11.2 stable and newer. There were driver issues in MacOS 11.1 for some devices.
Changes since PR8 for BigSur
- Fixed generic structs as inputs to an OSL shader.
- Fixed crash when using HDR viewport (please note that you currently still need to restart when changing the setting. This will be fixed in PR11).
- Fixed osl geometry nodes being connected to inputs of _sdf type.
- Fixed a render hang.
- Fixed a crash if writing an OCS file while using --no-gui
- Fixed color correction node clamping HDRI values.
- Fixed info kernel hanging for multi-layered materials.
- Fixed out of core.
- Fixed loading/saving OCS.
