Thanks, these are the numbers i need. So currently, it's roughly ~3 Megasamples/sec (can we shorten it to e.g. "Msm/s" ?) and with full cores working it'll be around 4.5, or ~2.25 per chip, that's still a bit low, though still within %20 compared to 470... i thought/hoped it'll be closer to ~2.5. well let's hope there's still room for improvements...

if they keep the 320-bit buswidth then 2560 MB, but hadn't heard of it coming -- don't count on it. Seems that the would-be-470 chips are getting 'dumped' into quadro 6000 cards
(and tesla c20x0's!). Also don't count on 3GB 480's to be released soon, if ever that is...
