Missing Orbx exporter under Octane Render Settings Tweet

(I am using Cinema 4D R25.117 and the latest version of Octane.)

As far as I understand, the suggested way of using RNDR is via the Render Settings:

David shows in the tutorial that there is an ORBX Exporter supposed to be, as you can see in my screenshot, this function does not exist in my settings.

What am I doing wrong, please?

Hi,
probably you have installed an outdated version of c4doctane plugin, please remove the installed c4doctane version and upgrade to 2022.1.1-R5:

In this version, there is also a new optimized .orbx export in Live View menu File/Export to../Animated package for RNDR (.orbx):

Thank you, now everything is in order. It's weird, because I triple checked that and always got the answer: 'You are using the latest version of the plugin. There are not any newer versions to download!'.
Doesn't seem reliable. Anyways, is there a difference between the export you mentioned and doing it via the Render Settings? The file size appears to be the same ...

Unfortunately, the "check for updates" command doesn't work, always better to check at OTOY-Maxon release forum page, the latest version is always on top:
viewforum.php?f=85

About new exporter command, it should be faster is some circumstances.
