Hi,

This is an Octane for LightWave EOL Tribute build including the latest Octane 2021.1 stable core. A lot of the new Octane 2021.1 features are not available (no new nodes and so on) but at least these plugin builds will guarantee the present and future compatibility with the latest GPUs and NVIDIA drivers, extending the EOL of the plugin for all the users still working with it, and including all the latest core fixes and even some new features.

This version supports Nvidia Ampere GPUs and as a consequence, we had to drop support for old Kepler cards with a compute model < 3.5. And please make sure to use a NVIDIA Studio driver with version at least 456.38 on Windows or 455.23 on Linux

- Latest Octane 2021.1 core that guarantees support for the latest NVIDIA GPUs and drivers, extending the plugin EOL.

* OCTANE 2021.1 FEATURES:
Improved support for RTX hardware ray tracing including accelerated instance motion blur on Ampere GPUs
Comprehensive RTX shader support
UV surface tangents are now interpolated if the material has anisotropy set to a value != 0, to avoid visible facets in stretched highlights
Improved rendering of overlapping volumes and increased the number of volumes allowed to overlap in one location to 16
More accurate handling of volume boundaries
Added support for light-linking of volumes
Improved rendering of transparent surfaces inside volumes
Improved AI Light rendering
OSL improvements

Very very thank you. Juanjo, I don’t want to sound too presumptuous, but does it make sense for us to wait for the next update, which includes new render kernels?

I was hoping to find the boolean node one day or the other, before your post about the end of the plugin, but ok, can't have all from the life.

Having a problem - AI Light Option not working (as expected):
When Adding (Direct Lighting) Kernal, and enable AI Light, the system freezes, sometimes crashes.
Keeps hanging at 1 sample in IPR, does not start the render in Scene Render.

Works perfectly fine in the previous version OR when I turn AI Light off.

The scene:
Scene has many instanced objects, that have a Octane Texture Emission and an Universal Shader. At a certain number of Instances, the scene crashes - but works perfectly fine without AI Light.

Made a test scene: I have 15x15x15 Instances with windows in it. Barely starts rendering with AI on. Increase number of Instanced blocks, it crashes very fast. Worked in Version 2020.2.5.1.
