closing tabs in the material editor crashes unreal Tweet

often i keep quite a few material tabs open and when i try and close one, unreal crashes.

i always forget to copy the crash log, will try and catch it next time.

iirc, i actually never had a clean shutting down of unreal while running octane.
even if i close it properly, i get the crash notification at the end.

I cant recreate this bug, could you provide me the steps you take to create this crash?


Yea the shutdown crash is know, I just havnt gotten around to it because of other work with higher priority.

the exact steps are hard to determine but what i did notice is that this happens when having 5-10 material tabs open.
i usually doubleclick the material slopt in the details tab and so sometimes i get to have alot of the open.

i willtry and remember to copy the crashlog, to atleast give you an idea.
