i have an object i want to have cast shadows but be invisible.
i used the octane object layer tag and set it to invisible to camera.
when i try and export the animation and choose stop the rendering, the process stops but the plane i have set to be invisibile shows up again in the viewport and the sampler cant move past 1 sample.
after that the octane object layer does not show any settings whatsoever, as seen in the screengrab. the workaround is to remove the octane tag and add it again.
i will have to start this scene fresh and see if these problems repeat. maybe something got borked with the project.
