With the Preview Render working in 2.79, we could hit F12 and it would automatically stop the Preview Render and lauch a Frame Render.

I miss this function.

still not implemented? I mean f12 could just switch to solid mode at least - when you do a bunch of renders, this adds up - octane team, you even read this?

..also material converter - do a better one and make the converter option so it leaves the cycles version, in case you wanna jump back - or to see texture under solid/texture view.. it's just grunt work.. people are getting interested in octane, make it user friendly

+1 - Great idea, would like to see that as well as better conversions. Also it would be realy helpful if the converter could successful convert from Cycles /Eevee Separate RGB nodes where a gLTF was imported. Would save a lot of time and hassle without us having to manually bring in an OSL script to do that.
