Hi,
after creating the some compositor nodes the Output AOV group Output is not visible in Render AOV output Preview Render Pass menu.
To make it visible you need to restart the render once or twice to make it selectable in Preview Render Pass menu.

G. Host application version, including build number if available (i.e. 3ds Max 2016 Build 18.0)

You need to detach and attach the Render AOV group to the Render AOV Output to make the AOV Output available. I hope this will be solved soon, but that "procedure" has been necessary since day one.
