zip / "network folder" install location support Tweet

hello!

we use a larger pipeline where the workstations all have plain vanilla maya installations, and we customize the maya environment variables, programatically for each job, to point to specific plugins and scripts. Maya has supported this for many many years so we have built our pipeline around this principal. Vray, redshift, ornatrix... they support a "zip" install or "network" install. Will it be possible to support this type of installation?

alternativly you can expand the plugin install exe file with a tool like 7zip and install expanded files manually/with own scripts
