I am trying to render glass with geometry subdivided by octane it looks completely different (and wrong) than if the geometry is subdivided in sops. any idea why that might be?

It was a bug on 3.05. Reversed normals on subdivs. Now should be fixed on 3.05.1. I'm gonna check.

Yes, it seems that there is a bug in the Octane 3.05 build related to the subd normals. I will release a new plugin build as soon a possible with the new Octane 3.05.1 core to fix this issue.

Thanks,
