OctaneRender 2022.1.2 for Houdini production (2022.1.2.1) Tweet

This is a production release of the OctaneRender™ 2022.1.2.1 for Houdini™ plugin compiled with the Octane 2022.1.2 core. This 2022.1.2.1 release is available for the latest Houdini production builds on Windows x64, Linux, and macOS arm64.

Houdini production builds supported by this release: 19.0.720, 19.5.534, 19.5.569, 19.5.605, 19.5.805, 20.0.506 and 20.0.547.

Note: This is a maintenance release of 2022 version which doesn't include the latest fixes. The most recent released version is here: 2023.1.0.3

Linux Note
On Linux only compatibility Houdini 20 build is supported (gcc9.3).
It can only be installed by downloading it from the downloads page since it's not visible in the Launcher:

We are looking into supporting the gcc11.2 build.

* PLUGIN FEATURES AND FIXES:
- Added Houdini 20.0.506 and 20.0.547 plugin builds, but removed 18.5.759 build
- Mac builds are codesigned and notarized
- Added enable/disable tonemap, denoising options to the Octane_setGPU command
Note: The options behave the same as the Octane Plugin Options GPUs tab in the GUI. This means that you can enable/disable GPU and enable/disable GPU tonemap without any restrictions.
Same options are also added in 2023.1.0.3, but the Octane Plugin Options GPUs tab in 2023 build's GUI allows one and only one GPU enable tonemap, and the GPU appointed as tonemap GPU will always be enabled, so the options in 2023.1.0.3 release follows the GUI's behaviour.
This means user's script using this option may have different results, so please take care to make necessary modifications while upgrading from 2022.1.2.2 release to 2023.1.0.3 release.

Common Issues and Solutions
- If the plugin doesn't work at all, set HOUDINI_DSO_ERROR = 2 in houdini.env and check for messages in the terminal.
- If you're missing libglut.so.3, install the freeglut package.

Could we get a compile or new build for 2022 as well for the latest production build 590 ? I noticed a new 2023 build was released which is great, but we are still running 2022 unfortunately.
